Mad Dog

Traffic Congestion

Pascagoula, Mississippi Off U.S. Interstate 10

The plane is plain and flat but not the hues. It's usually afternoon when we drive through Pascagoula, Mississipi on our way to South Carolina, but on one late start we reached it in the evening and soon darkness fell after this shot was taken. The bayous, bays and lake leading to the gulf looked eerie at night, like silver or blue ribbons on black. I like the simplicity of this landscape. It reminds me of plane geometry or just plain geometry.
